Getting Started with AEM

In order to begin your AEM Development locally, you will need to get your copy of AEM + License.

Prior to that install:

Java >


brew install maven

Place it in the folder called (e.g. Author), and then double click on the jar file, and it will start and cry-quickstart folder will be generated. On the first start it will take some time, but the following starts will be much faster.

To access your AEM CRX Package Manager


Will land you on the Admin Home Page


Will allow you access CRXDE Lite
